Talking about cheap contact lenses, if you’re using them, are you using the daily disposable ones or the monthlies?
If you’ve used both, or bought both types of contact lenses before, you’ll notice that there’s a big price gap between them. Which is the most sought cheap contact lenses? Monthly lenses are far cheaper than dailies though they do require extra care throughout the period. Dailies in the other hand are relatively easy to manage as you can put them on in the morning and throw them away before going to bed and simply have a new pair the next morning. No need for storing and sterilisation. And since you need a pair everyday, obviously, they aren’t just pricey for being handy but also because you need them in big quantities.
Monthly lenses have a longer lifespan and durability though you’ll have to make time for them to ensure hygiene and safety. Paying lesser sum of money for these cheap contact lenses means putting some effort in exchange. Just like buying the more expensive dailies; spend more money but do less work with them. As for me, both have their own values, pros and cons. I don’t mind using both of them but if I have to subscribe to a strict budget, I’ll opt to do the extra work for little spending. What about you?
People might have mistakenly think that the more expensive daily contact lenses must be of high quality that they’ll survive more than a day in your eyes. So can you in the other way round, save money by extending their the usage time and put the same extra care you’ll give to the monthlies? No, absolutely not! Eyes are very precious, delicate and sensitive. Do not jeopardize your vision by repeating the usage of your daily contact lenses. They are meant to be use for day, and expire afterwards. Meaning; they won’t be safe any longer to your eyes though you might be able to still see properly in style. Usability does not necessarily indicates safety.
Thus, if you would like to save a some money though need a better vision solution than glasses, you might want to choose cheap monthly contact lenses rather than using the dailies. And remember, do not try to cut cost by misusing your dailies for safety should be first above everything else because even money can’t replace your beautiful eyes!
